There was always a surprise along the commute.
On this day, I ran into a film crew that was shooting a scene for a
movie in the middle of the road. It was very interesting to me, but
the commuters in front of me were not amused. The Pinto tried to drive
through the scene but was stopped by the film crew.
Many people are surprised by the evergreen forest on top of the rim. I once read that there is every life zone on earth located between the bottom of the Grand Canyon and the top of the San Francisco Mtns. in Flagstaff. Driving to and from Roden Crater from Sedona took me through many of those life zones. |
