Jim painted the blades and fuselage of the windmill.
He had seen my painting skills when I put the primer on the portable
water tank and rightfully took over this portion of the project. The
fuselage was a brilliant blue that reflected the sky and the blades
were a silver gray. It was a very striking machine.
We had to see what the device looked like assembled, so we made a trial run assembling the blades. Seeing the blades mounted was an awesome sight and I was surprised at how large it actually was. |
